Shabbatonim are back for 2023! Last year, almost 70 LGBTQ Jewish teens gathered to celebrate Shabbat together, and we are already hard at work planning our Shabbatonim in 2023. We are excited to offer two Shabbatonim in 2023:
Our East Coast Shabbaton is now at capacity, but we still have spots available at our Midwest Shabbaton and we look forward to you joining us in April! Please click below to register.
Thank you to our community partner organizations who support our LGBTQ and Ally Teen Shabbatonim:
BBYO, Habonim Dror North America, Jewish Youth Climate Movement, jGirls+Magazine, JQY, JQ International, Jewish Women’s Archive, Moving Traditions, National Ramah Commission
The safety of our community and all communities is of the utmost importance to Keshet. Keshet’s policy is to not disclose the exact location of our Shabbaton retreats or our travel guidelines until registration is completed. Additionally, as the COVID pandemic continues we will re-evaluate conditions for safety and consult with partner organizations and medical professionals before proceeding with in-person programming. All our in-person youth programs will adhere to local guidelines. If you have additional questions about travel to/from the Shabbatonim or about COVID-19, please email [email protected].
We ask all eligible individuals to be vaccinated. We will send out a health check reminder prior to the Shabbaton, reminding all participants to join us only if they are in good health with no cold or flu symptoms. Additional testing prior to the Shabbaton may be required, based on CDC recommendations.
