Does your home library or kids’ school have the books The Purim Superhero or The Flower Girl Wore Celery? These children’s books were created as part of an effort by Keshet to produce Jewish children’s books with LGBTQ characters. If you haven’t seen the documentary film, Hineini: Coming Out in a Jewish High School, you can watch it for free here. The film chronicles the efforts of a high school student to establish the first-ever GSA in a Jewish school.
