Senior Communications Manager
she/her/hers

Talia has a passion for community building, learning, and a knack for producing well-crafted social media posts. She comes to Keshet from the Jewish Museum of Maryland, where she made sure each visitor had a thoughtful, accessible experience. Her commitment to making the museum a more inclusive place included leading the institution’s participation in the Keshet Shivyon Project. She found this opportunity to combine her Jewish identity and queer identity invigorating and Talia hopes to help more people discover how to be wholly themselves.

In addition to her experience at the museum, Talia has worked in Baltimore City Public Schools as a literacy tutor and volunteer tutor coordinator. She also has served at various Jewish congregations as a religious school teacher and worked at Eden Village Camp as the Aquatics Director. These experiences impressed upon her how important it is to inspire confidence in young people.

When not writing for work, Talia is usually writing for one of the many D&D campaigns she enjoys, sharing insights from fat liberation podcasts, or spending time with her partner and her dog, Sassquatch.
