Registration for the 2023 Shabbatonim is now open!

We are looking forward to seeing you at the LGBTQ and Ally Teen Shabbaton!
The safety of our community and all communities is of the utmost importance to Keshet. As the COVID pandemic continues we will re-evaluate conditions for safety and consult with partner organizations and medical professionals before proceeding with in-person programming. All our in-person youth programs will adhere to local guidelines.

We ask all eligible individuals to be vaccinated to the fullest extent recommended by the CDC for your age group (including boosters). We will send out a health check reminder prior to the Shabbaton, reminding all participants to join us only if they are in good health with no cold or flu symptoms.

If you have any questions about COVID safety at Keshet Shabbatonim, please contact [email protected].

In order to complete your registration form, you will need the following:
  • Your Covid vaccine card that you received when you were immunized against Covid-19 or a confirmation that you have received your vaccination from a healthcare provider;
  • Your health insurance information; and
  • Your doctor’s name and contact information.
Your registration will not be complete and your spot will not be held until you finish all parts of this form and you receive a confirmation email from Keshet saying that you have completed your registration form.

City/State Fields with State Dropdown
There are three sets of city/state data below. The first set of fields only appears when the address is in the US. It includes a dropdown of state values for data consistency, so we don't get things like Mass or Massachusetts for state. The second set of fields only appears when the address is NOT in the US. It has an optional and freeform state/province/region field. City is repeated in both sets just for formatting purposes so the city and state fields line up correctly. The final set of City and State fields are reused from whatever fields were there before, setting them to be hidden, calculated fields that take either the US or non-US data, depending on which has a value. We reuse the existing fields so the object IDs are the same. This means no formulas or mappings have to change.

In all aspects of programming and housing, we respect participants’ gender identities. Please contact Amram Altzman with any questions or concerns about housing.

At our Shabbatonim, we strive to create a pluralistic space that reflects the religious diversity of our community, AND that there is no one correct way to celebrate Shabbat, AND that Shabbat observances and traditions vary family to family and community to community. To that end, you have an option to select a roommate/bunkmate with similar Shabbat practices to yours (ex: using electricity, musical instruments, etc. on Shabbat). Answering ‘Yes’ to the question below will mean that you are placed in housing where your roommate/bunkmate also does not use electricity, musical instruments, etc. on Shabbat.

We will attempt to meet roommate requests but cannot guarantee all requests will be met.

Keshet will cover the costs of travel to and from the Shabbaton. We will be in touch with more information over the coming weeks.
