Senior Writer
she/her

Rachie (she/her) brings a passion for storytelling and leveraging the resources and creativity of the Jewish community for justice to Keshet.

Previously, she spent 12 years at the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Boston organizing Jewish and other faith communities around efforts related to gun violence prevention, abortion access, trans rights, and immigrant justice. Notably, she worked with a diverse set of multifaith partners to build a robust network of congregations and individuals who welcomed and accompanied hundreds of immigrants from all over the world.

Rachie earned her B.A. from Brandeis University in Sociology and Gender Studies and is an alumna of JOIN for Justice’s Jewish Organizing Fellowship and the AVODAH Service Corps.

Rachie moonlights as a queer mystery writer and is a huge (huge!) fan of the WNBA and an even bigger fan of inspiring other people to love women’s basketball too. She is also a proud member of her synagogue board and amazing brass band/music school, where she plays trombone with enthusiastic mediocrity. Rachie lives with her wife, Liz, and daughter, Raya, in Watertown, MA.
