Sarah has been a Jewish Educator, Public School Teacher, Environmental Educator, Outreach Director, and now, for more than a decade, Salesforce Administrator for nonprofits.  After these many years helping folks understand and be less overwhelmed-by their data and systems, but then leaving them after a year or so, she is thrilled to be putting down some job roots in an organization where she can be fully committed in all ways.

Sarah was a kid in Southern California and spent her summers at beautiful Camp Alonim, where she developed her life-long love of Israeli Folk Dancing, which she taught for many years.  She is a UC Santa Cruz Banana Slug and has a Master’s in Education from Mills College in Oakland, CA which was home for more than 23 years (along with San Francisco and Berkeley).

She moved to Vancouver, WA, in 2021 and enjoys the downpours in her new garden (aka is learning to love mud). She spends time doing house projects, DIYing, reading fiction, building funky garden beds out of junk, and searching for good stand-up comedy online.

Sarah is a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and is a passionate advocate for children in foster care.

She lives with 3 cats and her dog Ginger, who will be joining her on all future Zoom calls.
