Jaimie brings her background in Jewish education and leadership with her passion for LGBTQ community building as Keshet’s Director of Youth Programs.
Prior to joining Keshet, Jaimie worked with the Hillels at Muhlenberg and Columbia/Barnard; leading more than 600 students on meaningful immersive experiences in the US and abroad as well as designing and leading LGBTQ+ inclusion and leadership trainings for Hillel International conferences and other Jewish organizations. Jaimie has her MA in Jewish education and professional leadership from the Jewish Theological Seminary and her BA in Jewish studies and political science from the University of Florida.
Outside of work, Jaimie volunteers as a crisis counselor for LGBTQ+ youth with The Trevor Project and also works to support Russian-speaking LGBTQ+ Jewish youth in Brooklyn. She loves camping, taking in as much theatre as possible, taking long drives in her car (Ela) and can recommend a good taco place in every neighborhood of NYC.
