Under the guise of preventing child abuse, the President is continuing to spread malicious misinformation about the realities and dignity of transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive youth, and targets the very supports that are most urgently needed. Let us be clear: it is actions like this by the President and his Administration — whether it be through executive order or declarations like this one — that cause harm and jeopardize lives rather than prevent abuse.
