RSVP: Advocates for Trans Equality
On Trans Day of Remembrance, we mourn those we’ve lost and celebrate their lives. It is our sacred duty to protect and preserve their memory—and to demand an end to the violence against our community. Join Advocates for Trans Equality for a virtual event to honor trans legacy, celebrate trans joy, and imagine a future for trans people that is free and authentic, without fear of discrimination or violence.
This is an event for trans people, our loved ones, and our allies to gather, reflect, and build together at this important moment for our community.
Speakers will include:
🌷Peppermint, actress, drag performer, entertainer, and advocate
🌷Janetta Johnson, CEO of the Miss Major Alexander L. Lee TGIJP Black Trans Cultural Center
🌷Lizette Trujillo, activist and parent

🌷Sivan Kotler-Berkowitz, trans youth athlete and aspiring teacher
🌷Ebo Barton, poet and trans advocate
