On Yom Kippur, tradition says that we are supposed to be like angels. What does it mean to be created in the image of God and the angels? What does it mean to have a body? Join us for an interactive conversation during which we’ll explore Jewish texts about our bodies and their imperfections and our relationships with angels. Beginners to Jewish text study welcome and encouraged–no previous experience needed!

This program is open to all LGBTQ and ally Jewish youth in grades 8-12 (ages 13-18)!
