I consider myself a progressive, liberal Jewish leader. I was raised in the Conservative movement, attended Hebrew Union College, the Reform seminary, live and davven near the Reconstructionist Rabbinic College and have many Orthodox friends, some of whom are LGBTQ. Sometimes labels are helpful and at other times they are confining!
