About

I’m a Conservative rabbi, ordained at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at American Jewish University. I believe deeply that every person is created b’tzelem Elohim, in the image of God, and I try to begin every relationship from that place of dignity and respect. I love a good theme and a craft project. Creativity is one of the ways I build community and find new and meaningful ways to bring people together. As a rabbi, my mission is to help people find more meaning, joy, and connection in their lives. I love helping Jews connect with one another, celebrating together in moments of joy and showing up for each other with care and comfort when life is difficult. I’m also someone who appreciates a good laugh. I think I’m pretty funny, but you may have to ask the people who know me if they agree. I especially love living in Tucson. There is something about the warmth of the people, the desert beauty, and the relaxed and welcoming vibe here that makes it a wonderful place to build Jewish community. It is the kind of place where people show up for one another, and that is exactly the kind of community I love being part of.
