Reuven is a sleep medicine tech, a rabbinical student, an unexpected mystic, and a cat dad. Ze has a degree in Classical Studies and isn’t afraid to use it. Currently they are creating a variety of interactive experiences for trans Jewish folks to embrace their inherent sacredness. Ze left Mississippi and now resides in Seattle’s unceded Duwamish and Suquamish lands with hir two cats, three other queer Jews, and enough books for a decade of committed reading. Reuven’s vibes are deep-south sensibility, a belief that binaries are just human constructs, and continuous curiosity. Reuven uses ze/hir pronouns in honor of Leslie Feinberg ז״ל הי״ד.

Reuven Betzalel is a craftsman with an intense appreciation for a well-honed sentence, a finely tuned ritual, and those sacred connections that bring more fullness to our lives. Ze is available for ... - Dvar Torah, Learning experiences - B'Mitzvah of all ages, Leyning, Biblical Hebrew, siddur - Life Cycle Events, including non-traditional - Spiritual Guidance (kink and poly friendly) and other embodied Jewish encounters.
