My core conviction is that diversity in Jewish community and in the world is the clearest expression of the divine. I draw from a wide range of sources in Jewish tradition to pursue my conviction, having been raised in the Reform movement, attended Reconstructionist rabbinical school, and serving a progressive Conservative congregation. Serving LGBTQ+ Jews and their partners and families is a key part of my work and is very dear to me, and I strive to remove barriers and extend welcome so that all can participate in the richness of a Jewish life that embraces the full diversity of humanity, including the beautiful rainbow of sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.
