The Lawrence Family JCC is deeply committed to LGBTQ+ inclusion and actively invests in the queer community through values-driven, relationship-centered programming. The LFJCC launched Pride in the Tribe, a year-round community for LGBTQ+ teens and allies (ages 13–18) that offers a safe, affirming space to connect, explore identity, build friendships, and grow as service-centered leaders rooted in Jewish values. In addition to ongoing teen engagement, the JCC helped lead the charge for JPRIDE in summer 2025, partnering with Jewish organizations across San Diego to elevate LGBTQ+ visibility, celebrate queer Jewish joy, and strengthen communal advocacy.
