About

Congregation Rodeph Sholom proudly embraces LGBTQ+ individuals and families as an essential part of our community. Rooted in our core Jewish values of inclusion, dignity, and belonging, we are committed to cultivating a spiritual home where every person is fully affirmed and celebrated for who they are. Our congregation actively uplifts LGBTQ+ voices and experiences through meaningful programming and education. We honor key moments in the LGBTQ+ calendar, such as Pride Month, National Coming Out Day, and Trans Day of Visibility, and regularly host speakers and events that promote dialogue, awareness, and allyship within Jewish life. We are also intentional about how our physical space reflects our values, with gender-neutral restrooms and visible symbols of LGBTQ+ pride throughout our building. At Congregation Rodeph Sholom, inclusion is not just a value - it’s who we are. Some of our clergy and community leaders proudly identify as LGBTQ+, embodying our belief that queerness is not only welcome here, but sacred.
