About

Sid Jacobson JCC is deeply committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all who walk through our doors. That commitment is reflected in the breadth of our offerings, which celebrate the rich diversity of our community, with year-round initiatives that affirm and support the LGBTQIA+ community beyond Pride Month. Most recently, we partnered with fellow JCCs across Long Island to establish a regional LGBTQ+ coalition, expanding collaboration, visibility, and support across shared communities. Locally, we helped launch Safe Spaces for LGBTQIA+ Youth, which included a four-part self-defense series for ages 14+ held at our campus. This commitment extends beyond programming. Sid Jacobson JCC cultivates a workplace culture rooted in belonging for all employees. We uphold equitable policies and provide meaningful resources to ensure all individuals feel respected, valued, and empowered.

At Sid Jacobson JCC we embrace and celebrate the identity of every individual. Within and beyond our walls, wherever you are from, whoever you love, however you identify, whatever makes you who you are, you are welcome here.
