About

I work with individuals, groups, families, and communities to create + promote positive change through teaching, speaking engagements, and spiritual counseling. Jewish spiritual wisdom + tradition guide my work in helping families mark moments of celebration and change, such as weddings or other life initiative rituals and personal transitions. My official bio: Tova Leibovic-Douglas is a rabbi, ritualist, writer, and guide. She’s the founder of The Ritual House, where she creates offerings that invite folks to gather in circle and explore the mystical layers of Jewish wisdom. Tova has led programs across many communities, including Ikar, Beit T’Shuvah, Camp Ramah, NuRoots, and the Community Mikveh at AJU. Ordained at Ziegler, she holds degrees from Columbia University (BA in Art History) and the Jewish Theological Seminary (BA in Jewish Gender Studies), and is an alum of fellowships like M2, NewGround, and the Center for Rabbinic Innovation. She’s also trained in reiki, kabbalah, and dowsing, and is currently exploring the connection between the Hebrew calendar and astrology—a topic of her forthcoming book. Tova believes in sacred belonging, moon-gazing, and ritualizing the little things. Find her on Instagram @rabbi_tova.
