Har HaShem aims to include individuals with any and all gender identities and expressions, and sexual orientations. We have a new LGBTQ+ Committee that will work to make sure Har HaShem remains a welcoming place for all. Har HaShem has: --Non-gendered restrooms. --Spiritual, social, and educational events focused on LGBTQ+ people and topics of interest. --Inclusive language that we use to call people to the Torah and to describe lifecycle events (i.e., our Bet Mitzvah program). --A group for nonbinary, trans, gender expansive, and LGBTQ+ teens to gather monthly with a trained adult mentor.
