At SF Hillel, being LGBTQ+ isn’t just accepted—it’s celebrated. Queerness is not treated as an exception, but as an integral and joyful part of our community. The majority of our students identify as queer, and many of our staff and partners across the Hillel Movement do as well. This representation shapes a culture where LGBTQ+ identities are visible, valued, and affirmed every day. At SF Hillel, we assume and embrace a broad spectrum of identities and expressions—because that’s who we are.
