Ruach HaYam presents our SEVENTH annual full day Shabbat retreat for Queer Jews and friends and family. The parsha is Vayera, wherein we find the question of the hospitality of Abraham and Sarah and the inhospitality of Sodom, with angels connecting them.
We gather in the morning for Shabbat services, followed by a catered kosher lunch, afternoon workshops, Havdalah, and a light third meal. We bring you a full but centered and restful day of connecting with friends through davening, eating, and learning. Although Ruach HaYam speaks with a queer Jewish voice, we welcome persons of all gender and faith identities. We are friendly to beginners.
