Join us for a conversation with Vadim Blumin, a New Israel Fund Board member, Jewish educator, and activist within the LGBTQ and Russian-speaking community. From supporting the first Pride marches in Israel to surrogacy rights to LGBTQ organizations in religious communities, NIF has led the way in fighting for inclusion and equality. Come hear about the decades-long fight for LGBTQ rights, the issues facing Russian-speakers in Israel today, and what it means to promote progressive values in traditional communities. This is our second program out of three in our special series with The New Israel Fund. Vadim Blumin is an historian and LGBTQ activist in the fields of Jewish education and civil society in Israel. Vadim lives in Ramat Gan with his partner, Roman, and their daughter, Danielle.
