NCJW Spotlight: Coming Out Trans in America

June 28, 2021

7:00 pm

Price: -

RSVP: National Council of Jewish Women Chicago North Shore

Anti-trans laws remove the protection of civil rights. They aim to restrict teens from participating in team sports and hamper them from getting gender affirming medical treatment. These bills also seek to limit bathroom access by transgender individuals. Bullying and violence against trans teens continues. Self-acceptance and the support of family and community make a difference.

Join us on June 28 for a frank conversation with Rabbi Sue Fendrick and her son Elianna Kruskal about “coming out” as a teen.
