MIMI LEMAY is an author, advocate for transgender rights and a member of Human Rights Campaign’s Parents for Transgender Equality Council. Her essay, A Letter to My Son Jacob on his 5thBirthday went viral in 2015, followed by the NBC Nightly News segment: Jacob’s Journey: Life as a Transgender 5-Year-Old, which earned the title of the network’s most viewed segment on social media. Mimi and the entire Lemay family continue to educate and advocate for gender-diverse youth, fighting for passage of equality laws in MA and across the nation. Her critically acclaimed memoir.
