BJEP invites the community to celebrate Hanukkah for a day of learning emphasizing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) projects. The day includes a traveling program from the Museum of Science (Night Sky) to explore the stars in a traveling planetarium, make your own flashlight (grades 3-7), and create a dreidel mural (grades K – 2) by exploring Hanukkah through art. We will conclude our celebration with a special snack. We are grateful for the support of the Waltham Cultural Council in helping bring this program to fruition. Recommended for ages K – 7th grade.
The Boston Jewish Education Program (BJEP), a Jewish Sunday school and independent and vibrant Jewish learning community (K-Grade 7), instills students with a sense of joy and belonging within the Jewish community, knowledge of Jewish traditions, history and the Hebrew language. We meet on Sundays from 9:30am-12pm at Brandeis University.
