Keshet will be a Jewish Communal Partner at this year’s March on Washington. All are welcome to join in DC as we demonstrate for racial justice, LGBTQ+ equality, and fighting antisemitism and bigotry in all its forms. This year’s event marks 60 years since the historic civil rights march in our nation’s capitol, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech. This march not only commemorates a watershed moment in U.S. history, but also represents a renewed call to work together in the civil rights struggles ahead.
Participants will gather at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Main program begins at 11am ET. Following the program, the March through the streets of the Nation’s Capital will begin at 2pm ET.
For those who are Shabbat observant, ADL is developing plans to facilitate participation and will share details soon. Onetable will also provide resources for joining solidarity Shabbat events nationwide.
