Join JCC Community Theatre as we honor Pride Month and raise our voices against hatred of any kind. The Laramie Project is Moises Kaufman’s play dedicated to the people of Laramie, Wyoming and to the memory of Matthew Shepard. On November 14, 1998, a month after the University of Wyoming student Matthew Shepard was murdered, award-winning playwright Kaufman and members of The Tectonic Theater Project traveled to Laramie and began a series of face-to-face interviews with the people of the town where the story unfolded. The writer/actors created this electrifying play.
*Please note that all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Matthew Shepard Foundation and Keshet
