Join Bet Mishpachah, DC’s LGBTQ+ synagogue for a special program honoring Transgender Day of Visibility. The DC community is invited to participate in a brief ceremony honoring the day and then hear from Admiral Rachel Levine, Assistant Secretary of Health and the first openly transgender four-star officer in any of the United States uniformed services as well as the first female four-star admiral in the Commissioned Corp will then address the congregation, followed by a Q&A session moderated by Rabbi Jake Singer Beilin. This event will take place at the Edlavitch DCJCC
