At 6:45pm, we will screen Assaf Machnes’ award-winning debut feature Where To? that won rave reviews at this year’s Berlinale. It’s about the unlikely friendship that’s formed between a straight middle aged Palestinian Uber driver and a young gay Israeli man, and how, through conversations over multiple serendipitous and planned rides, they both find new ways to confront their personal stories.

At 8:45pm, we will screen Udi Nir and Sagi Bornstein’s fascinating documentary, The First Lady, about the life journey of Efrat Tilma, a trailblazing Israeli transgender woman who serves her country and has become a prominent social and political activist. The film will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers and Efrat Tilma.
