Blessed are You Lord our God, Sovereign of the Universe, Who created human beings in the imgage of God, and Who said, “It is not good for the human to be alone; I shall make a fitting partner for him.” Blessed are You Lord, Creator of human beings.

 

 

שׂוֹשׂ תָּשִׂישׂ וְתָגֵל הָעֲקָרָה בְּקִבּוּץ בָּנֶיהָ לְתוֹכָהּ בִּמְהֵרָה בְּשִׂמְחָה. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ מְשַׂמֵּחַ צִיּוֹן בְּבָנֵיהַּ.

 

Sos tasis v’tageil ha-akarah, b’kibutz baneha l’tokhah b’simhah. Barukh attah adonai, m’same-ah. tziyon b’vaneha.

May our desolations turn to joy and happiness, as all of Zion’s children are gathered to her together. Blessed are You Lord, who brings joy to Zion through her children.

שָׂמֵחַ תְּשַׂמַח הָרֵעִים הָאֲהוּבִים כִּשַׂמְחֵךָ יְצִירֵךָ מֵאָז גַּן עֵדֶן מִקֶדֶם. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ מְשַׂמֵּחַ רֵעִים הָאֲהוּבִים.

 

 

Same-ah. t’samah. rei-im ha-ahuvim, k’sameih. akha y’tzirekha mei-az gan eiden mi-kedem. Barukh attah adonai, m’sameah. rei-im ha-ahuvim.

Bring joy to these loving companions, as You have brought joy to all your creatures from the Garden of Eden onward. Blessed are You Lord, Who brings joy to loving companions.

Blessed are you Lord our God, Sovereign of the Universe, Who created joy and happiness, mirth, song, merriment, and delight, love, harmony, peace and companionship. Lord our God, may there soon be heard in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem, sounds of joy and happiness, the jubilant sounds of grooms going forth from their h. uppot, and the sounds of young people feasting and singing. Blessed are You, Lord, Who brings joy to loving companions together.
