Right-wing politicians in dozens of states are creating state-level policies that deny LGBTQ+ people and especially trans youth the basic dignities of life: giving legal protections to anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination, prohibiting trans youth from playing sports or using bathrooms, denying supportive and medically sound healthcare, silencing teachers and schools from even discussing the reality of LGBTQ+ people existing, and threatening to rip apart families that support their children.

Jewish youth and adults, and Jewish families in states with anti-trans and anti-LGBQ+ policies, are already living in fear for their safety and losing life-saving healthcare and support.

It is critical that all of us who support LGBTQ+ people and especially LGBTQ+ youth show up in this moment to fight against policies that harm our friends, family, and communities. Read on to learn more about the laws currently in place in key states that either support or discriminate against the LGBTQ+ community.
