IJS is offering a limited number of full scholarships (covering tuition, room and board) for young Jewish LGBTQ activists to attend a Jewish mindfulness retreat on “The Inner Journey of Liberation,” Wednesday-Sunday, March 18-22, at the Brandeis-Bardin campus of American Jewish University, in Simi Valley CA: https://www.jewishspirituality.org/go-deeper/practice-retreat-2020/.
These scholarships are provided through the generosity of the Nathan Cummings Foundation in support of the Rabbi Rachel Cowan Scholarship Fund. Priority will be given to those with financial need, with leadership potential, and who embody Rachel’s values of justice and inclusion. Preference will also be given to those with traditionally marginalized identities.
