The author discusses the difficulties faced by prophets, the challenges that God brings to them. Prophets are often directed to deliver a message of destruction to a group of people and at first resist this task. The author compares this to modern religious figures taking pains to render invisible the existence of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Nevertheless, we are obliged to speak truth on these issues.
