Four pieces about sexuality. the first, by Jill Dearman, is a short fictional story about a lesbian’s experience dating women and trying to please her disappointed mother. In the second, Melanie Weiss and Rabbi Susan Schnur discuss the future of the Conservative movement following its historic decision to ordain openly gay students as rabbis. In the third, Ilana Goldhaber-Gordon struggles with and celebrates the Conservative Movement decision. The final piece, written by Rabbi Elliot Kukla, is about blessings for different types of transitions, including gender transitions.
