Join us for “Got Shabbat?”, an opportunity for the whole community to come together and have fun, learn together and find new ways to celebrate Shabbat. Beginning together with songs and blessings, adults and kids are then invited to choose from a panoply of activities, until we gather again to read a little Torah and close the service together. Come find out if you’ve “Got Shabbat”! A kiddush lunch will follow.
At this Shabbat gathering, we will be reading about the building of the mishkan, the portable sanctuary in the wilderness, and thinking together about how we build, relate to, and protect our sacred space. We will have a diverse array of morning workshops for all ages, including:
-Text Study on creating a space that welcomes and protects refugees, with Rabbi Shahar and CDT Teens.
